We have not been able to figure out what is my 17-year-old daughter’s allergy. She has gone through blood and scratch testing for everything from fish and eggs to pollens and grasses. So far, everything has come up negative. Doctor thinks (but doubts) it is a preservative in shrimp, for which there is no testing, and we are stuck at waiting for the next few reactions to occur and by process of elimination, try to figure out what it could be. She is now fighting the anxiety of going out of her immediate home area for fear of having another reaction. I was hoping other teens looking to share some support and stories could email with Nichole.
