FACES--Food Allergic Children Education & Support--is a support group
for families of children with severe food allergies, serving the
northeast suburbs of Detroit, based in Macomb County. FACES meets the
first Thursdays of each month from 7-8:45 p.m. The group features open

peanut, corn, soy and wheat. He is lactose intolerant and has asthma. The
long list of environmental allergies starts with dust, mold, dogs, cats,
and goes on. He is supposed to start school this fall and I am looking for
any ideas that would make his experience easier. Many things in school can
be life threatening to him and I am interested in how others have dealt
with this type of situation.
